Arbatax Le Terrazze sul Mare

Le Terrazze sul Mare is a clean, simply furnished residence in a convenient location. Anna, who greeted us, was kind, professional, and helpful. My complaint is about how unclear the rental website was: it doesn't explain how many apartments there are or what each one looks like, and the pictures mix together different units. There are seven apartments in total. In the three in the middle, two bedrooms are upstairs: a double with a terrace facing the sea and a twin room overlooking the back garden. The third bedroom is downstairs in the basement. It has two beds but no windows, and it's underground and somewhat damp. In reality, it would be registered as a cellar. The central apartments' living rooms and kitchenettes are also in the basement, with no sea view. Only two of the seven apartments shown online have a sea-view living room. They're the upper apartments at the front ends of the residence, and each has just one bedroom at the back. The remaining two are on the lower floor of the end units. THEY'RE LOSER!!! I don't think they're even habitable. Their living room and kitchenette look onto the courtyard where cars park, and the bedroom is in the basement.

The street is quiet and closed to through traffic, apart from local residents. We could park right under the house and still see the car from the window. The apartment was spacious, with a sea view, patio, and lovely garden with loungers. It was clean and peaceful, and the location was ideal: five minutes on foot to Frailis beach and also five minutes to La Baia restaurant.

The meal was very good, and everyone working there was friendly.
