Campeggio Villaggio Sos Flores

The listing for Campeggio Villaggio Sos Flores said the guest house rooms had WiFi, and I booked 12 nights partly because I needed to work during the stay. The connection there had no internet at all, not just a weak or intermittent signal. I couldn't even send a WhatsApp text. WiFi worked in the office, which made the explanations about the outage hard to accept. I kept asking Alberto, the manager, about it. He was rude and condescending, and gave different reasons: that it was temporary, an ISP issue, that the whole town was offline, or that the area was too rural for internet. I asked to leave after 11 nights and pay for those 11, since the lack of internet wasn't my fault and the listing had been misleading. Alberto wouldn't adjust the bill by a cent or let me check out before my booked date. I did leave early because I needed WiFi to be comfortable, but still paid for nights I wasn't there. You may not need WiFi, just as you may not need electricity, but I'd expect guests to be allowed to leave without paying for unused nights if a hotel lost power. Here, you'd apparently be told to buy candles. There were other problems too: the pool closed at 6 pm in August even though sunset was around 8:30; laundry was €6 for a small load and €10 for a large one; and the guest house had no kitchen access or way to heat anything outside breakfast, from 8-10 am. The camp shop was very expensive, the restaurant food was average at best, and the pizza toppings were comically sparse. The dirt road to parking was in poor condition and so narrow that cars often had to reverse around corners to let oncoming traffic through. This felt like a cash grab, and I've seen similar accounts in other reviews. Find somewhere else to enjoy Sardinia, especially if you need internet or decent customer service. I've read plenty of complaints from people who misunderstood a non-refundable booking, but that's not what happened to me. The attached photos show both the WiFi listing and the lack of connection.
