Portu Frailis

We felt at home thanks to the wonderful staff, and Romeo the cat was a friendly extra member of the team. We’d find him relaxing on our terrace in the mornings. The hotel is a dream, with charming rooms, large bathrooms, and good Wi-Fi. Breakfast was fantastic, with lots of pastries, juices, and other choices. Don’t skip the morning cappuccino! Restaurants, a market, and the beach are all within walking distance.

The lush, colorful grounds were lovely, and our clean, comfortable room stayed nice and cool with the A/C. We had a great stay at Hotel Il Vecchio Mulino for my father’s 60th birthday. Before we arrived, Stefano was incredibly helpful over email and even arranged a birthday cake for my Dad. When we got there, Clo welcomed us warmly, helped us settle in, and explained everything we needed to know. She was a highlight of our visit, always kind and quick to help. I’d recommend the hotel for its service alone. We were delighted to finish our trip here and hope to return soon.

Breakfast was a dream, with great quality food and lots of choice. My family and I had the best stay ever. The place is cute, well cared for, clean, and relaxing, and the staff were just fantastic. They were always smiling and helpful, relaxed but still completely professional. They ought to teach customer service to others. We didn’t try lunch or dinner, but I’m sure we missed something amazing. Next time we’ll stay longer, because coming back here would be a pleasure. Thanks to the property and the whole team for everything!

I got in late and left early the next day, so I didn’t spend long there, but my impression was good. It’s a cute hotel with nice staff, and the inner courtyard and garden outside are very well kept.
