Hotel Poseidonia

I ended up leaving the next day and checking into an Airbnb, and I’m still waiting for the hotel to refund me. My first room had a sticky, bloody mess on the pillows, yellow stains on the sheets, no hot water at the shower or sink, an active leak, and a moldy smell. The night manager called around to find me somewhere else, but at that hour nothing else was open for check-in. At around 2 a.m. I was finally moved to another room, even though there was one right next to mine that the girl who checked me in hadn’t offered before leaving for the night. I didn’t sleep at all and it took me several days to recover from the whole ordeal. Horrible experience. Don’t stay here.

I’m not usually one to write reviews, but after two weeks at Hotel Poseidonia I wanted to say how much I appreciated the service. The place is clean, stylish and comfortable, and it feels welcoming from the moment you arrive. The staff are so friendly, always smiling, and clearly take pride in their work. Housekeeping is second to none, going above and beyond to refresh the room every day. The amenities you might need are there, and I’m sure the team would try to help with anything else. I really can’t recommend it enough. Thanks for such an enjoyable stay.

Everything was spotless, and dinner was exceptional. This was the best place we stayed during our 12-motorcycle ride. We’d definitely stay again.

It’s about a two-minute drive to the red rocks, but I didn’t find much else to recommend about the location. The rooms look much better in the photos than they do in person, and there are no outlets by the beds. They could use a refresh. Breakfast disappointed me: mostly sweets, stale toast, and terrible coffee.
