Hotel Harmony

We stayed in August 2024. For a three-star hotel, I'd call it average. The sea-facing location is excellent, and in the evening it's easy to get to different places for a stroll or visit. Staff were friendly, breakfast at the buffet was good, and lunch was good and plentiful. The furniture was dated but clean. Our room had a new air conditioner and refrigerator that both worked well, along with a new bathroom and shower.

The kitchen, location, renovated bathroom, and outside facade are the good points. Inside, though, the rooms are run down, with unsuitable box-spring beds that are crooked and broken, and broken, unsafe furniture and lamps. The entrance gardens are neglected, with rubbish left in view. From what I saw and the frequent power cuts, I don't think the electrical system is up to standard. There was no emergency lighting anywhere, including on the stairs. It's a shame, since even a small investment could make the place decent.

Our room was very old, with a shower curtain and such a tiny tray that water covered the whole floor. The staff weren't kind or professional. At check-in, the room wasn't ready and wasn't even the one we'd booked. It took a whole day to find a remote for the air conditioning, and they didn't have sparkling water when we asked. When we raised these problems, all we got was, “Well, the hotel is a bit dated.” I wouldn't recommend it.

The main plus is the location, and if you want it, you can get a beach umbrella and two loungers for just €10, which is a great deal. Staff were friendly, breakfast was minimal, and the place was completely clean. We booked through Smartbox after a LONG series of hiccups because it was in the area we needed, and were moved here from the Mondial Hotel. It's actually part of a hotel chain. The room looked onto a kitchen and its waste rather than the sea, and the car park is small, with space for at most 10 cars. Bathrooms need a complete overhaul: they flood during showers, the shower-head rail was broken, the bidet showed rust, and the toilet seat looked at least 50 years old. The furniture was old, mattresses uncomfortable, mosquito nets nonexistent, and there was no Wi-Fi. If you only need a temporary stay, it's clean and affordable enough if you're willing to compromise. Otherwise, this isn't the hotel for you. It's a shame because the location is so strategic. It needs a bit of a makeover, and investing could definitely bring a positive response.
