Sorriso

The owners are friendly and clearly busy keeping the property up, even having to deal with guests being careless, us included. When a storm came while we were out, they went into our room to bring the towels inside and close the shutters. Breakfast was simple, with good coffee, and the pool was lovely. It’s in a pretty quiet neighborhood, though parking can be tricky. Our room was old-fashioned and basic, but clean, and for the price it was fine. The main annoyance was having only one outlet, in the bathroom. The hairdryer also needs replacing since those older ones get hot very quickly.

Valentina was especially thoughtful and helpful, and kindly arranged our dinner table reservation. A big thank you to her! We stayed for several days in July in the suite, and found the owner and staff extremely friendly and accommodating, despite what some reviews say. Nothing to complain about. The rooms were very clean, and the pool was spotless. Breakfast was fine, nothing special, but there was enough of the usual hotel selection. COVID-19 precautions were followed consistently, with disinfectant dispensers hanging throughout. Five stars for a lovely small hotel.

We had a really nice stay and would definitely come back. The staff were so friendly, and breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade jams the owner makes with fruit they grow themselves.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room itself was clean and fine. But this feels like a two-star place, not a three-star hotel. There’s no parking, and the rooms have no soundproofing, so you hear your neighbors in the room and even in the bathroom. Breakfast, served by staff due to COVID-19, was very poor. The coffee was instant and honestly embarrassing. Maybe this place was much better a few years ago.
