Francesco took care of us and was helpful with everything, from our needs to suggestions for nearby sights and good restaurants. The breakfast was fresh and had plenty of variety. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the view, and we'll definitely return.

The grotto and its little jetty made it easy to spend a relaxed day by the water. The villa is partly very old, but still really beautiful, with direct lake access and parking for one car. We had four adults and two dogs, and there was enough space to get out of each other's way when we wanted. The kitchen is tiny but has what you need, and arranging the rental was straightforward. The staff on site were always helpful with advice. It's on a busy road with no sidewalk, though that wasn't a problem for us. There is public parking a few meters down the road, but it looks unpleasant, with lots of rubbish and a very bad smell. The main difficulty with a dog is that you need to drive a few kilometers to walk it. There's also a very small trail across the road, but not enough room for a dog to run or play. A lovely place if you're flexible.
