Albergo Ristorante Bergallo

The views over the villages and mountains are lovely, and some dishes are attractively priced. I especially recommend the truffle ravioli, and the rabbit was quite good too. The dishes are generally good quality, though the sweets were only average. There are only a few parking spaces near the restaurant.

The truffle ravioli were delicious, with a lovely texture, and the food came out quickly. Prices are very fair. The view is great, and the restaurant was clean both inside and out. We struggled to communicate because the menu was only in Italian and some of the waitresses were hard to understand in English, though we managed fine with others. Ordering was difficult, but that itself wasn't my issue. Some waitresses seemed very impatient and nearly rude. We felt stressed and left on our own for most of the evening. I don't expect staff to speak anything beyond Italian, but I had hoped for more patience. The Filetta die Griglio wasn't really a filet. It had a lot of tendon and fat and not much flavor. The potatoes alongside it were so oily and soggy that we couldn't eat them. Maybe we were unlucky, but for now I'd recommend sticking to the pasta.

The truffle ravioli are a must. We've tried something new from the menu each time we've been, and everything we've ordered has been delicious. The prices are more than fair, and if you're after authentic Ligurian flavors, this is definitely worth a visit. Communication was a little tricky, but the staff did their best and were always kind. Just perfect.

Really good food, and the hospitality was just as lovely.
