We stayed here from late June to early July 2025, using it as a base for trips around the area. Temperatures reached 40°C, but the inland location and some elevation probably helped keep the place airy and the temperature bearable. We never needed the air conditioning. The terrace and its view were wonderful. One suggestion: there's a bathtub rather than a shower, so a rail to hold the shower head would mean you don't have to keep it in your hand while bathing. The owners are easy to reach for questions or requests.

The apartment was excellent, bright, roomy, and clean, and we really enjoyed staying there. The owner, Mr. Giuseppe, was very kind. It's a few kilometers from the sea by car. If we come back to Trabia, we'll stay at Casa Vacanze Butterfly again. Many thanks to the owner.

The house seems quite welcoming for a few days. For a longer stay, the kitchen feels too small. Otherwise, €60 a night is expensive.
