We really weren’t expecting it to be this good! The service was great, and the location by the sea is magical. Open the room door and you’re right on the beach. The hotel is modest, but the view is beautiful, and the restaurant was really good. The fish of the day was excellent +++.

The mushroom sauce was the one thing I enjoyed. The steak itself was a poor cut, too thick, chewy, and full of tendon. I asked for it well done and it came medium rare, and they seemed not to understand what well done meant. We were also disappointed there were no pizzas. Not a great meal.

The lido was friendly and the beach was spotless. We had a lovely Aperitivo by the water after coming back from the UK, with cherries in our Spritz, just the way it should be. Moments like that are why I miss Sicily so much.

We won't be going back. The service was practically nonexistent and really unprofessional. Drinks were forgotten, orders came out at random, and nobody checked on us. Also, what's with the headsets? Ridiculous.
