La Battigia

I unfortunately spent two days at this B&B, and the poor service went beyond what I could accept. This isn't a good standard of hospitality. The room was cramped and unpleasant, with an uninsulated wooden structure, exposed electrical wiring and loose wires hanging down, an uncomfortable bed, and a run-down bathroom. The TV didn't work. I know it's a guesthouse, but that doesn't mean people should have to stay somewhere dirty or unsafe. The owner may also enter your room without warning while you're out, so be careful. I hate to end on such a negative note, but this place needs a complete renovation and someone managing it who understands the basic standards for a decent welcome and stay.

The beach and sea are right there, just down the five steps from the terrace. We stayed at the end of August and felt very well looked after. The two ladies who run the place were lovely and welcoming, always willing to help. Our room was clean and tidy, and breakfast was standard but good quality. We'd recommend it without hesitation.

A relaxing holiday here is easy: the B&B is just two meters from the sea, with private parking and clean, sanitized rooms. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and the owner was very kind and friendly. You can also get lunch and dinner from the house menu. Prices vary by season.

The food was fresh, cooked really well, and excellent. The hosts were warm, kind, and helpful, too. The property is lovely, tidy, very clean, and well furnished, with thoughtfully arranged spaces for relaxing. Just three steps down and you're on the beach. A dream. Thank you, and see you soon!
