We didn’t stay at the hotel, but came for dinner after people at our accommodation recommended it. It was an easy short walk, and we were glad we went. Even though it was Saturday evening and we hadn’t booked, the staff found us a table. Booking ahead is probably a good idea, and the large tables give the place a nice atmosphere. We waited a while for the food, but the staff kept apologising and it wasn’t an issue for us. The meals used lovely local produce, and the servers knew the menu well.

The ravioli with a light touch of lemon zest was my favorite, though the pasta in general was excellent. We also loved the tender, flavourful steak and the stone-baked pizzas, with their perfectly baked bases and plenty of toppings to choose from. Agriturismo da Regina is a bit off the beaten path near Caminola, but that’s part of the appeal and the trip is worth it. It’s a beautiful rustic setting for authentic Italian food. A real treasure.

Dinner here was one of the best meals we had in Italy. The eggplant parmigiana tasted so much like my Nanny’s that I nearly cried. We loved the beautiful outdoor seating and friendly staff too. We’ll absolutely come back whenever we can.

Our hotel recommended this more affordable, local restaurant, and it was well worth the drive from the coast. It’s in a lovely area, away from the tourist traps. The place is gorgeous, with lemon trees overhead, and the food was amazing. The staff were kind.

The place was full, but they squeezed in an extra table for us. We had amazing pizza and ravioli, plus local sparkling red wine that might have been homemade. It has an authentic Italian feel. Don’t skip it, you’ll like it!
