Agriturismo Mare e Monti

The host family were warm and ready to help, and we enjoyed dinner with authentic food at a good price. We camped in a tent among the vines, with breathtaking views. The drive up takes about 30 minutes on a mountain road full of bends. We enjoyed the scenery the whole way, but it might feel less romantic if you’re a nervous driver. There’s also a manure smell around the field, which didn’t bother us, though it’s useful to know. The only thing keeping this from five stars was the toilet and shower area: it’s dated and could be fresher.

We spent three nights here in our tent and had a great time. The whole family welcomed us, everything was organized, and the washroom area was very clean. We’d gladly come back and recommend it.

The farm surroundings were lovely for walks, and it was so peaceful. A few local shops are about a 30-40 minute walk away. We had a wonderful 10 days at the Mare e Monti appartments, with very welcoming owners. We still miss the omelet at breakfast and Titina the dog. :'(

We stayed in our motorhome and used the camping facilities, so I can’t speak to the accommodation. The washing facilities were great, though. The vineyard, beautiful surroundings, and amazing food were real highlights. They were also incredibly helpful in arranging scooters for us, which made it much easier to explore the coast without driving the motorhome every day. The welcome was so friendly, and the homemade food and wine were fantastic. A real highlight of our trip. Thank you!
