We kept looking forward to coming back to this peaceful place after our daily outings. We’d planned a short trip around Apulli near the sea, but ended up with a relaxing stay at home, surrounded by a garden that felt like paradise, full of fruit and herbs we were welcome to try. It was a week, and still far too short. The green garden cascades down among trees, flowers, plants, and edible herbs, with lovely spots to sit and a view of the sea. There’s also a private beach area belonging to the condominium, and the white pebble beach just a two-minute walk away was beautiful and quiet. We were only able to visit it twice because of the weather, but there are plenty of other places to see nearby. With a rental car, we went north to Gargano, including San Giovanni Rotondo and Mount S.Angelo, and south to Poligniano, Monopoli, Alberobello, Matera, and Gravina. Each return to the homestay felt like a treat. Our visit coincided with fig season. Enrico, sorry we made such a dent in the figs, even though you encouraged us to help ourselves! Picking and feasting on them became our morning ritual. One day our kind host also brought over fruit and herbs from his own backyard that weren’t growing in the garden. We got groceries from shops owned by our host and could easily find everything we needed. The outdoor kitchen had all the dishes and equipment for cooking, and then some. We didn’t get to use it all, since we also ate at local restaurants recommended by Enrico and his brother Mario. Thanks, Mario, for stopping by, the recommendation, and the little philosophical chat. Enrico was professional, organized, kind, and easy to talk to. We often took his advice about places to go and things to try, and were glad we did. He also helped us a lot when we were trying to find a lost item at the Bari airport on our way back. The accommodation has two separate en-suite rooms, giving plenty of privacy and comfort. They had everything we needed, including mosquito spray and SPF creams. There were deck chairs, mattresses, sunshades, and portable beach chairs too. Everything was clean and hygienic, and the rooms and property were thoughtfully equipped. We could wander around the gorgeous, spacious garden with a book, or be at the sea in just a short walk. Best wishes from Wroclaw, and thanks again for the stay.

Our two nights were over far too quickly. The trulli has a sea view you can enjoy especially at sunset, and a private beach just a five-minute walk away. My fiance' surprised me there with a lovely proposal, followed by a romantic sunset dinner, which made the stay even more special. It’s a one-of-a-kind place, with modern architecture and little creative art touches throughout. It’s peaceful and comfortable, and has everything you need to make breakfast, lunch, or dinner at home. There’s a supermarket a few minutes down the street, and the built-in BBQ worked great. It’s also a handy base for sightseeing in different cities. Enrico was kind, quick to respond, and happy to answer questions or offer recommendations. Absolutely magical. Thank you for everything, Enrico!

Just lovely!

Out in the countryside, but only 100 meters from a private beach reserved for the villas in the complex, this place is a real charmer. It’s carefully kept and tastefully done, the sort of spot true connoisseurs will appreciate. Dogs are welcome and can roam freely around the property. I haven’t had such a lovely, relaxing holiday with all my dogs in years. Give it a try and see!

What a shame we only booked four days! We loved having a huge area all to ourselves with open views of the sea, and direct beach access. The beach is pebbly, so water shoes are a good idea. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was designed and furnished with real attention to detail. There’s an outdoor kitchen and lots of peaceful spots outside. The nearly 5km promenade to Bisceglie was great for jogging, and Mario was incredibly friendly and easy to deal with. The trulli completely lived up to what we hoped for in a special, unique place to stay.
