La Banchina Luxury Suites

We stayed on 13/05/24. The room was excellent, modern, and extremely comfortable. It's in the historic center, just a few steps from the port. Highly recommended.

Our junior suite, Blumarine, was spacious, tastefully furnished, and newly renovated in a modern style. The harbor view was lovely, and we even saw the sunrise. The location is central, and there are two air conditioning units plus heating, all individually controlled. Amenities included a cappuccino machine, tea maker, two TVs, a hair dryer, and an ironing board. The bed was especially wide and comfortable, with soft blankets and what seemed like mercerized sheets. I slept like I was on a cloud. There are excellent places to eat in the same building, including the Michelin-starred Quintessenza. Room service breakfast comes with delicious pastries from Pasticceria Europa. My one complaint: there were just two coffee capsules, and I would have loved another cappuccino.

The room was excellent, bright, and spacious, with a lovely view over the busy harbor where fishing boats arrive early in the morning. The hostess gave us excellent service. After one quiet night, we decided to extend our stay, and then regretted it because of the nearby Portulaca bar. Every night the music was painfully loud until 1:00 AM or 2:00 AM. After that, guests called out their goodbyes, and bottles were tossed into the recycling bin with a bang. The bass was so loud that even the earplugs I'd just bought didn't help. Dear Banchina managers, please do something about it, perhaps by improving the sound insulation on the street-facing window.

We had a really good stay in the Malaga Suite. It's spacious, modern, and spotless. The location is ideal for a Trani vacation: right in the center, overlooking the marina, and handy for the train station.
