BB Arcipelago

The nights were a nightmare. If you got two hours of sleep at a time, you were lucky. Over five nights, I had to call the women working at the B&B four times, between 12:30 and 4:20, because closing the inside doors made the walls of my ground-floor room shake. It was a disgrace and completely unlivable. Daily cleaning and working air conditioning were the only things that went right.

Mr. Claudio made our Easter stay special. He was incredibly kind and helpful, showed us places to visit, suggested good restaurants, and even took us there himself. The rooms were spotless and smelled fresh. From the B&B, it's a short walk to the center, with the sea nearby and cable car connections to Erice and bus stops close at hand. It's great value for money, and I'd gladly recommend it. We stayed in April 2013 with family, and I'll definitely be back.

I spent four days in a villa where the dirt and rats seemed to go together. I booked a double room but got a queen-size bed and a low camp bed. The toilets were blocked, and the garden was full of junk. I feel sorry for the people of Trapani, whose town is represented by people like this.

The rooms are lovely, and the owner is kind.
