Tenuta Alle Due Querce

Our stay was one of the worst hotel experiences we've had, and I wouldn't recommend this place because of the poor living conditions and the way we were treated. The area around the pool looked as though nobody had lived there: it was dirty, run down, and neglected. The Booking photos were nothing like what we saw, and the hotel didn't seem worth what we paid. We had booked through Booking.com before 6pm and immediately got confirmation that check-in was possible. But when we arrived, an older woman was very unpleasant and spoke no English. We used a translator to explain that we wanted to get into our room. She said it wasn't ready, despite Booking saying check-in was available from 2pm to 6pm. When we asked why it wasn't ready after our booking was confirmed, she became aggressive and told us to wait by the pool until it was. She said it was a "special day" in Trapani and that this was causing the delay, though there was no special day at the time. Her behavior shocked us and was extremely unpleasant.

After hot days, the quiet and cool air here are priceless. The park and swimming pool make it a fabulous place to unwind in the late afternoon or spend a restful day. It's a truly relaxing spot, about 15 minutes from the center of Trapani.

The booking site photos don't reflect the actual state of the place. There's plenty more I could say about it, but you can avoid the experience by staying away.

We had a terrible time here, with no privacy and an aggressive owner. The place goes by several names, including Scuderia Grande, Scuderia Piccola, Donna Vittoria. Its prices are the lowest around, but I don't think it's worth it. I strongly advise against staying here.
