Il sogno di fafa

The brightness of the apartment surprised me after walking through the narrow lanes in the eastern end of Trapani's old town. It's a nice little place tucked into a narrow alley. The bedroom is a good size, with a TV, small desk, and wall mounted A/C mini-split. The hallway takes up a bit too much room since it's only useful for shoes, luggage, and extra things. The kitchen has utensils, pots, pans, and plates, plus a two-flame electric stove, microwave, sink, pod coffee maker, and, best of all, a European style washing machine. The stove isn't very powerful and only works when its light is on for safety. The coffee maker's water didn't get hot enough for me, so I used my own Italian cafeteria, which I'd bought three years ago in Puglia. I also had to buy a sharp bread knife, can opener, and kitchen towel. The bathroom had everything needed, including a big shower and bidet. I never met the owner, but messaging worked quite fine. If I return to Trapani for another language school session, I'd probably rent the apartment again.
