La Trinacria Rooms

I had a bad stay. The room smelled awful, the fridge was very noisy, and I could hear the neighbors at night. It felt like a tourist trap, with luggage storage offered at 5 euros per hour when everywhere else charges 5 euros for four hours. Breakfast was 8 euros, and lots of other services were advertised at high prices. I picked a B&B expecting some flexibility with luggage and a nice breakfast. The location is close to the Main Street, but the street itself felt empty. It’s a 15-minute walk to the port for the islands, and the funivia to Erice is quite far, about a 20-minute walk plus a bus. Next time I’d stay farther to the right on the map.

Of all the places we stayed during our 8-day trip around Sicily, La Trinacria stood out for its hospitality. The rooms were spotless, the location was great, and the welcome felt warm from start to finish. A perfect place to end the trip.

Alessio and Maria were kind and helpful hosts, always ready with useful suggestions and keen to make our stay pleasant. La Trinacria Rooms is right in the heart of Trapani, close to historic center restaurants, the beach, and the port, where tours leave for the Egadi Islands. Our room was spotless and comfortable. The bed was new and very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean, well-equipped, and in great condition. We were completely satisfied with the stay, and the modern comforts and warm hospitality made it an ideal base for enjoying Trapani. I’d recommend it to anyone planning a Sicily holiday.

Recently renovated and in central Trapani, this was great accommodation. It’s near the harbor, the old town, and the bus stop for services to and from Palermo and Agrigento.
