Le Cale Bed Breakfast

We really enjoyed staying here, and if I come back to Trapani, I already know where I’d book. Stefania is warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The B&B is right in the historic center, handy for exploring town and a great base for getting to the nicest beaches. Everything was spotless, from the rooms to the shared spaces. Breakfast isn’t included, but there’s coffee, water, and snacks to get you going. I’d happily recommend it.

The location was the one good thing about our five nights in August 2024. The room was meant to be a double, but it was two single beds pushed together. We were told towels would be changed after the owner messaged to apologize for the lack of tidying, but they were replaced only once, and the sheets never changed at all. Our room wasn’t vacuumed or properly swept. When my bracelet slipped under the bed, I found a pile of long hair, even though both of us have short hair. At check-in we were told we could use the shared fridge, so I put in some water bottles. When I opened the freezer to store ice pops from my cooler, there was spilled coffee all over the floor, and I cleaned it myself. The cleaning felt very superficial. Not satisfactory.

Stefania’s welcome was lovely every day, and her courtesy and professionalism really stood out. We had a great stay, with a wonderful room in a beautiful part of Trapani. A fantastic B&B.

Stefania gave us excellent tips and was so kind. We were close to the port, the wall-side promenade, restaurants, shops, and pastry shops, and free parking along the seafront worked out fine even though the B&B is in a restricted traffic zone. The place has been recently renovated and is in the center of Trapani. Our room and bathroom had plenty of comforts, big windows, a little terrace, TV, Wi-Fi, and a hairdryer. In the shared room there’s a guest fridge, tables, a coffee machine, and a kettle. Recommended.
