The only real drawback is getting to the rooms: the stairs are narrow and steep, so managing luggage is a challenge. Otherwise, they’re well equipped with air conditioning, a TV, and comfortable large beds. The rooms are on the main street in Trapani’s old town. Staff come by daily to change towels, empty the trash, and make the beds. Guests can use the fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the shared ground-floor area. Reception is a few steps from the building, and the Polish staff are always ready to help or give advice.

Right in the middle of the city, this B&B has a small but cozy, clean room. You don’t really need more. Breakfast is at a little local café around the corner, with coffee and a pastry. The bed was very good, which matters too. There’s no parking, but you can find a paid spot nearby.

The staff were very friendly, and the room was modern, functional, and well equipped, though a little small. It’s in an excellent spot in the historic center, close to the ferry and hydrofoil docks.

The rooms are welcoming, but getting to them takes a lot of patience. The stairs are so narrow that there’s barely room for you and a suitcase, and there’s no elevator. With my luggage, climbing all 58 steps was a nightmare.
