B&B Attarte

Travo is a small village, and this place is right in its center while still being quiet. It worked really well as a base for visiting Piacenza and nearby villages. Vera was warm and helpful, and the food options are excellent for vegetarians and vegans.

The owner was kind and always ready to help, and breakfast was simple but tasty. The rooms were lovely and spotless, and the bathroom had everything I needed, including a hairdryer. The B&B sits on a quiet street in central Travo, with convenient parking and the main sights within walking distance. It’s on the second floor, up two flights of stairs. There’s no air conditioning, but the fan was enough for me. There’s no TV either, which suited the peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Vera welcomed us with warmth and tact, and the cleanliness and vegan breakfast were both outstanding. Attarte feels like a special place that has barely changed with the times. It’s right in the center, so we felt at home immediately, and the surrounding old village is beautifully cared for. We’ll certainly come back on our next trip to the Trebbia Valley. I rode here alone on my motorbike, as I usually do, and spent Saturday night. The place has a really special, almost magical feel, and it was very clean. The vegan breakfast was excellent too. Vera runs the place with a gentle kindness and gives you space. She’s also a talented naturopath, if you’re interested in trying one of her treatments. Don’t miss it if you’re nearby.
