We had a generous breakfast of authentic local products out in the garden, with a panoramic view. The whole property looks new, and our room was romantic and carefully maintained. Everything was very clean, which isn’t something you can take for granted anymore. The view over the Piacenza hills and the Trebbia Valley is so relaxing. We spent a peaceful weekend surrounded by nature, just right for walks or a romantic escape. Daniele greeted us when we arrived and immediately put us at ease. He was kind, cheerful, and helpful. I’ll definitely be back!

Our daughters, 12 and 13, were delighted, and we’re already thinking about coming back for a romantic weekend. We had a small alarm clock mix-up and woke well after check-out, but Daniele wasn’t bothered at all. He brought us a delicious late breakfast in the shade of the lovely porch. Thank you for such a fabulous experience, Daniele! The place sits on a hill above the valley and the Trebbia River, and the setting was even more beautiful than the photos. The accommodation was tastefully renovated, comfortable, and practical, with charming furnishings. Our host was impeccable.

This lovely cottage is set in a quiet patch of countryside. Our host was considerate, charming, and discreet, and spoke excellent English. Google Maps sent us a little too far, so its directions weren’t quite right. There are lots of mosquitoes in summer, so come prepared.

I haven’t visited yet, but this place gets a stellar review from the heart anyway! It was my vacation home back in the ’70s, and seeing it again as a memory is such a wonderful surprise. What a spectacular, peaceful spot. I can’t wait to come back and spend an unforgettable weekend. See you very soon. Max, born in ’69.

The rooms were lovely and clean, and the owner was impeccable. It’s a quiet, enchanting place surrounded by nature, and somewhere I’d happily stay again.
