Villa Albertina

Villa Albertina has a welcoming feel, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The distinctive Art Nouveau-style property sits amid the greenery of the Parma countryside. It's child-friendly, and there's a cycle path along the Taro River. We hope to return soon.

The location would be splendid, and it could have been a lovely place for a night in a "Villa." Instead, I found so much dirt and neglect. What a shame. P.S. It's strange that the woman who left such a glowing comment has photos of all the rooms. How on earth did she get them? Come on, that's fake! Either she's been snooping in other people's rooms, or the owner gave them to her?

The rooms were far from clean, and there were insects in them too. The garden and the property are so neglected, it's a real shame. They deserve better management. I wouldn't repeat the experience.

We found the place welcoming and minimalist, but there were a few problems with a water leak. The two-bedroom suite has just one bathroom, and its shower is oddly placed in the middle of the room. It wasn't quite right for a work night with colleagues.
