Bella Vista Barbaresco

The place is really well equipped, and the views are amazing.

The jacuzzi was always available and heated, set in a lovely little jewel of a garden. Even in August the grass was green and neatly trimmed. There's a pharmacy next to the property and several restaurants within walking distance, despite the countryside setting. We spent two dream weeks in a beautiful apartment in the Langhe hills, just minutes from Barbaresco and Alba. Laura and her family were so welcoming and attentive that we felt at home and well looked after. The apartments are spacious, fully equipped, tastefully furnished, and well maintained. There's a shop on the property selling products from the family's gourmet kitchen and other local foods. Get the gnocchi, ravioli del plin, and lasagna, they're fresh and delicious. The preserves, including sauces and jams, are great too. You can also book cooking classes to learn a typical Langhe menu, then sit down and enjoy what you've made. A wonderful holiday.

The views are breathtaking, and Alba is only 8 minutes away, with Neive less than 5. There's also a shop next door selling local delicacies, and you can relax in the jacuzzi if you feel like staying in. We stayed for 13 days and never wanted for anything. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the linens were changed every four days. Laura's welcome at her Bellavista Barbaresco apartments was incredibly generous: wine, pasta, hazelnut spread, preserves, and more. It was a real surprise. This felt less like renting an apartment and more like being welcomed by a generous friend. Hospitality like hers is hard to find. One tip: book directly instead of through the portals. It's cheaper, and you pay at the end of your stay with no deposit. A dream. Thank you for everything.

The view is breathtaking, and the hot tub makes it even better. We found wine, fresh pasta, jars of sauce and jam, and fresh fruit at reception. Everything you need is in the house, including coffee pods, towels, and sheets. Breakfast is included, with a basket of fresh bread and croissants waiting each morning. The welcome was excellent and we had a great stay. If you want to be pampered a little, this is the place.
