A lovely place.

The large balcony facing the lake stays shaded in the mornings and evenings, which we appreciated. There are four balconies, and the apartment can comfortably fit six. It’s well kept and air-conditioned, with two good shower bathrooms, one with a bidet and the other with a washing machine. There are two bedrooms with two single beds each, two of which can be pushed together in one room, plus a third bedroom with a double bed. Parking took some effort: you have to reverse down the fairly wide driveway and maneuver, though if you’re lucky you may find a spot on the street above. There’s also a small area by the entrance where loungers could go, but we didn’t use it. We walked through a shady alley to Parco Teresio Olivelli in under 15 minutes. It has old trees, shady benches, a lawn, restrooms, and a bar, and you can swim there. Lots of young people do, and we went every day, sometimes more than once. For a day out, Lenno has a market by the church on Tuesdays, with plenty of parking at the cemetery, including shaded spots. After the market we took a boat to Bellagio and later came back to Lenno. Leave plenty of time to get a return ticket and pay by card. We often ate at the restaurants between Hotel Bazzoni and Grand Hotel Tremezzo, and a visit to Villa Carlotta is worthwhile.

Waking up to the lake view was priceless. The vacation apartment is incredibly beautiful, right on Lake Como, and the facilities and beds were top-notch. The owners welcomed us very warmly.
