Appartamenti Casa Rita & Antica Corte Ginevra

The apartment was clean and had what we needed. The bed was freshly made, towels were provided, and there was a bread delivery service. The landlords were friendly, our Labrador was welcome, and the location was quiet with restaurants easy to reach on foot. The main problem was the humidity. We aired the place every day, but it was still extremely damp. The air conditioning didn't work, and the fan barely helped. My clothes got damp and then began to mold. A vacuum cleaner would have been useful, and a full-length mirror would have been nice as well.

Villa is a beautiful, quaint hamlet, with a restaurant 50 meters from the front door and Vesio's amenities a few minutes' walk uphill. The lake is a bit far, which was a shame since we went every day, but the 7 km drive passes quickly. Our ground-floor apartments at Casa Rita were cool and felt a little damp, but we had a great time. We stayed for a week with two families and needed two apartments next to each other. Walter found just the right setup: two charming places opening onto a fully private, enclosed courtyard, with a large pergola and barbecue for eating outside. It felt like home. Walter was kind, friendly, and always ready with information and advice. Thanks! I think we'll definitely come back.

The host family were so friendly, helped us straight away whenever we needed anything, and kept us supplied with salads and useful tips. The apartment was well-equipped, though we missed having a dishwasher and garlic press. Our dog loved the stay too, and the location made a great base for different excursions. We had a wonderful holiday and would love to return. Thank you!

The house was lovely and clean, and the owners were very kind and helpful. If I'm being picky, it deserves better than an old cathode ray television. Still, it's absolutely worth staying here.
