La Quiete 56 Holideal

The house was spotless, and the landlord was very nice. We rented it for a week and enjoyed the lovely views of Lake Garda and Monte Baldo. In the evenings, though, the sports field below was noisy, with football or loud music going on until 11 pm. Parking was a real problem for our station wagon. Neither the space at the house nor the extra one further down worked for it. We had to straddle two spaces diagonally to be able to get out.

We loved the view of Lake Garda from the balcony, and the house was clean and well furnished. The shower is tiny, and the parking is awkward, especially with a larger car. You can't park right at the house, and even in the available spaces it can be very hard, or impossible, to get out. The roads are narrow too. The pool requires a swimming cap, and you need to register for a timed slot. When we arrived, roadworks meant we had to carry our bags almost all the way up from the lower car park to La Quiete 56. We were only allowed to drive up and unload after we asked. Even so, we'd recommend it.

It's a peaceful place, about a 10-minute walk from the center of Pieve, where there are bars, restaurants and pizzerias. We were lucky to get a small apartment with a fenced garden, and our medium-sized dog enjoyed it too. The view is relaxing and rewarding. Pool sessions have to be booked by time slot, but it never caused crowding or got in the way of enjoying our stay. A good spot for a quiet break.

The house was clean, and the agency was very helpful. You can use the pool for two hours a day, or when it isn't busy, according to a schedule. The view of Lake Gatda is beautiful, and you can park at the house, but your car needs to be small enough to get out of the space. The shower is tiny too, which could be a problem if you're a little overweight.
