We booked apartments for 10 and 4 people, but when we arrived the reception was closed. The owner had called ahead to say he’d leave the keys in the rooms and that we could call the number he used if there were problems. The bedding, blankets, and pillows were only set up for 12 people, so two of us had none for the whole stay. The larger apartment for 10 had just one toilet and bathroom, with one roll of toilet paper for three days and no key. WiFi was in a hotel, and we had to ask reception for the password, but reception stayed closed the entire time. The owner didn’t answer calls or SMS at the number he gave us. We were charged €10 per person for towels and bed linen even though we brought our own, which the booking information said was allowed. The apartment listing mentioned a coffee machine, but there were no capsules. The dishwashers had no tablets, and both apartments had to share one sponge and dishwashing liquid. One hairdryer didn’t work. In one bathroom the lights flashed on and off like a strobe, which could be dangerous for someone with epilepsy. On the last day, the owner came by and we explained what had happened, expecting an apology. Instead he yelled and was rude. One of us tried to record his behavior, which made him even angrier. He yelled more aggressively at her, and “YOU ARE A TOTALLY STUPID WOMAN!!” was just the start of the insults. She ended up in tears. We were scared, so we paid for the reservation and decided to deal with it through Booking customer support, which we’d already contacted during the stay. After we paid, the owner cancelled the reservation on Booking, apparently to stop us leaving a review there. He forgot that we could still rate the hotel on Google. So don’t put too much trust in the good Booking reviews. As you can see here, we weren’t the only ones who had trouble with the owner. This is a warning if you’re considering staying here: don’t, unless you want your vacation ruined. THIS IS DEFINITELY THE WORST PLACE TO STAY WHEN YOU’RE IN ITALY. Honestly, this was the MOST HORRIBLE accommodation experience I’ve ever had. The very aggressive and rude owner was only the beginning.

The location is nice, but the room is dated and quite dirty. There’s no air conditioning either. We stayed in early July 2025, and I can confirm the negative reviews sound alike for a reason. The owners are crooks. Ask them about something and they shout as if you’re at fault. They shout at their lovely staff in front of guests, too. They charge extra for towels and still try to put it on your bill even after saying they won’t if you book directly instead of through booking.com. They also make up damage so they can charge you more. Very rude people. If you decide to stay anyway, don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Good value for the money, and the place is clean and modern. There’s a pool, wellness area, and restaurant, with a shop just a few meters away and the picturesque village center nearby. We’d recommend it.

The views are incredible, and the apartment is both spacious and clean. Check-in and checkout were easy.
