Hotel Garnì Venezia

The staff were superb and helped us figure out the trains and buses. We stayed in the suite with a balcony facing the piazza, and I highly recommend it. The room was large, with a clean, generously sized bathroom and all the amenities we needed. They also replaced our used wine glasses, which hadn’t happened at our previous hotel.

The breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of choice and excellent coffee. We’ve stayed at two other hotels in Trento, and this was the best. The price for the room and breakfast was very fair, and the pictures matched what we found, with no surprises or disappointment. The hotel is lovely and cozy, right in the historic center downtown. Our room and bathroom were very clean, which matters a lot for a comfortable stay. The staff were polite, helpful, and professional. I highly recommend it, and we’ll return.

This is a clean, recently renovated hotel in the middle of town, with friendly staff and a great breakfast. You can pull up in front to load and unload, though overnight parking is 10 minutes away. Use Apple Maps to find it, because Google Maps will take you to the wrong place. We’ll definitely come back.

The breakfast here was incredible. I expected the usual coffee and croissants, but found roasted seasonal vegetables, soft-boiled eggs, local meats and cheeses, pastries, homemade cakes and strudel, fruit, and oatmeal with loads of toppings. I’d been craving vegetables, fresh fruit, and protein, and they had it all. I didn’t need to eat again until dinner. There were also lovely espresso drinks as good as you’d get at a bar, plus every kind of tea I could want. The view from our room took in the Duomo, the main square, the bell tower, and the mountains beyond. The hotel is right in downtown Trento but quiet, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. My daughter and I slept so well during our film festival trip. The front desk staff were kind, knowledgeable, and helpful, and everything is close by. I can’t wait to come back next year.
