We’ve stayed here six times, including this year, for the Trento-Bondone race event, and have been completely satisfied on every visit. The rooms are well equipped and clean, and the view of the track from the balcony is a truly unique experience. Staff have always been cheerful, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast has more than enough choice, and the wellness area is a great way to relax. We’ll be back next year, and for many years after that.

The hotel is comfortable, but the service let the stay down. I waited an hour longer than expected for dinner, and dessert was supposed to come right after the meal. After another hour of waiting, it never arrived. I’d give it five stars if the staff paid more attention to guests.

There was no air conditioning or fans, and the elevators weren’t working, so we had to carry our bags up the stairs to the third floor. Breakfast choices were okay, though they could be better.

The staff, food, wine selection and prices were all brilliant, and the views were fantastic. We didn’t try the spa, but I imagine that was good too. For a four-star hotel with five-star service, the room is the only thing that kept this from a five-out-of-five review. We upgraded to a mountain-view room with a balcony and a lounge/living room, but the balcony was filthy and hadn’t even been brushed, let alone mopped. The bathroom was massive, yet the shower was small. There was so much unused floor space in there that you could park a Fiat 500, while the bedroom felt cramped. The bedroom had the TV, but the lounge was upstairs with the wardrobe, desk, sofa, and single bed. Why put the TV downstairs and the wardrobe upstairs? The layout felt muddled and confused. So, 3/5: everything outside the room gets 6 out of 5, but the bedroom gets 1. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but the basics were missing in a fundamental part of the hotel. We paid separately for the room, and even with the food being as good as it was, I wouldn’t have expected to pay more than 40 euros a night for that room. It was nearer 90.
