Just a block from the museum, the location is brilliant. The rooms are spacious enough and well furnished, and breakfast was a nice, adequate meal. The staff were very friendly and understood enough English.

Be careful with this hotel's reservations. On Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018, we arrived in Trento and went to the official Tourist Office near the train station to find a room. They called this hotel, and we were told the booking was firm and confirmed. About ten minutes later at the hotel, we'd filled in the forms, had our Passports copied, and my wife had the key in her hand. Then a completely uncaring, incompetent desk clerk took it from her and said our room was being given to someone from an Internet aggregator booking site. He barely shrugged and didn't seem bothered at all. It was a busy week, which made it all the more important that he do his job properly. We went back to the Tourist Office, whose staff were shocked and dismayed. They called the hotel again and got the same dismissive response we had. At least the Tourist Office apologized and found us another room, 30 km away. We had to drive through rush-hour traffic to get there, then make the trip back during the morning rush to conduct our business. Zero stars.

The views from the rooms are incredible, and the location is good. Room quality is a bit of a gamble: some have been newly renovated and are great, while others aren't as nice. The service also varies depending on who's at the front desk. Still, I don't have any complaints overall.

The view was lovely, and the location is good. The building itself feels quite old and unattractive beside the historic architecture. There’s a gym downstairs, partly outdoors, playing annoying music. Still, the price seemed fair for what you get.
