You can hear people in the next rooms so clearly it’s like hearing them breathe. Breakfast is very basic, with no vegan choices beyond a few pieces of fruit and no milk alternatives. There was nothing luxurious about the place. The furniture looked old, dirty and broken, and I found some spiders and dead bugs in the ceiling corners. The elevator doesn’t serve floor 2, so you have to haul your bags up the stairs. I wouldn’t recommend staying here and wouldn’t come back.

For what it costs, I wouldn’t recommend it. The place felt really cramped, there was no decent view, and there wasn’t anywhere to relax.

The owner was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She refused us breakfast, then repeatedly confronted me and my wife. The exchange was captured on camera. She accused us of fraud and trying not to pay, then called the police and accused us of assault. When officers reviewed the recording, they were appalled by the accusation. She also claimed we hadn’t paid, but it turned out to be a problem with her machine. The officers even apologized to us and said she was known for this kind of behavior. It was an unbelievable disaster. Save yourself the stress and stay somewhere else, there are plenty of other places.

We had four wonderful nights here and would definitely return on another visit to Trento. The staff are really kind, the cakes at breakfast are excellent, and the breakfast itself is delicious. It’s a nice spot close to the city centre, with cosy, spacious rooms. The walls don’t block much sound, so you can sometimes hear the people next door. As suggestions, it’d be nice to have more in the Luxury rooms, such as a kettle or Nespresso machine, and something in the kitchen for warming food.
