The village and the surrounding countryside are so picturesque, definitely worth visiting. We got lost on the way to our alternative place because Cascina Sortina was booked when we wanted to stay, and accidentally ended up at their house. Even though we weren't guests, they were incredibly hospitable and happy to answer our questions about things to do, restaurants, and vineyards nearby.

The room was spotless, one of the cleanest places I can remember, even compared with high-star hotels. It was comfortable too, with a good bed and all the amenities. I loved the narrow staircase up to it and the magnificent original lock, which gave the place a real sense of another era. I found it online for a business trip and was surprised by how beautifully this rustic place had been restored. The hostess was welcoming and friendly, and breakfast was simple but excellent. I’d stay again on a future work trip, and a relaxing family weekend is also a possibility.

Sara made us feel especially welcome and was courteous and helpful throughout. Breakfast was a treat, with delicious homemade cakes. Cascina Sortina is surrounded by the golden vineyards of Monferrato, with Monviso in the distance and peaceful hills all around. It's about fifteen minutes from Casale Monferrato and very close to the lovely village of Ozzano Treville. The flower-filled garden has several spots to sit and unwind. Our room was tastefully furnished, spotless, fresh-smelling, and thoughtfully equipped, including WiFi. Exceptional value for money. Highly recommended.

We found it easy to feel at home here, with the owners always available and glad to suggest local routes, wineries, and places to eat. Breakfast was generous and authentic, with fresh local products and homemade desserts. The B&B sits among the Monferrato hills, with beautiful views, real quiet, and an authentic feel. Our room was immaculately clean and carefully kept, furnished in a tasteful rustic style. A lovely spot for nature, good food, and a bit of relaxation. We had a wonderful night and will definitely return.
