Hotel San Giovanni

We had a great stay. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were really knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend it :)

A good base for getting around without a car. The property has parking, is just a few minutes’ walk from the center of Vigo, and is close to the cable car, local public transport, and the cycle and pedestrian path for exploring nearby villages. You can reach the Canazei ski lifts in about 15 minutes. The rooms were clean, and the friendly staff made it feel family-friendly. They were happy to share useful advice and all the information we needed. Breakfast was a plentiful buffet with quality products. Recommended for families, couples, and friends of any age. Many thanks to the very kind Rosanna and Graziella for their warmth and hospitality. We’ll remember our stay fondly.

The family who owns the hotel were so friendly and kind, and always lovely with our little boy. After it snowed, the owner had our car cleared by the next morning, and the road had already been cleared to make it easier to get out. Such a thoughtful, welcoming gesture. We stayed in a winter suite that was clean and new, with a kitchenette, wooden floors, and a magnificent new bathroom. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The hotel is in a very convenient spot in Vigo di Fassa, with private parking on the main road and amenities close by. Perfect and impeccable, highly recommended!

We’ve just come back from five days in Val di Fassa, staying at Hotel San Giovanni, and couldn’t have picked better. It’s in a strategic location, yet quiet and comfortable, and above all spotlessly clean. Breakfast had a great mix of sweet and savory options, all excellent, especially the yogurt and fruit. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming, ready to help with any need and offer useful advice. We felt right at home.
