The only things I liked were the bed and the location. We stayed one night because of an early flight, and the first-floor room is so small there’s basically just room for a bed. We had to put our bags on it to pack, and the room is really only useful for sleeping. The towels were wet, and I’m not sure why. The soundproofing is terrible. When people walk and talk outside, it sounds like they’re right by your pillow, though luckily the street isn’t too busy. The bed faces the street. Neighbors are directly opposite the room, so it feels exposed and you have to keep the curtains closed unless you want to be watched. The bathroom tap takes a lot of force to work properly. The shower gel and hand soap both smelled of tea tree oil, a very particular smell I wouldn’t want to use too often.

The host was very helpful, and the place is central yet quiet, which worked perfectly for my short stay in Treviso. My room was small, in a multi-story apartment with several rooms. The shared areas were well maintained, and there was a peaceful little internal garden. The towels were the one letdown. They were all torn, which made it seem like some attention to detail was missing. Replacing the old, worn towels would help make the apartment feel as elegant and well kept as it should.

The room was unusual and comfortable, with a good bed and two pillows. Our “Fireplace” room had a big walk-in shower, a separate toilet, Wi-Fi, and a door code in case you leave your key inside. The renovation of this former convent is impeccable, and everything was clean and well kept. Alessandra welcomed us warmly at short notice. There was also a breakfast box waiting in the room with juice, water, toast, jam, and coffee pods. We had a wonderful stay with Alessandra and would recommend it.
