Hesperia Apartment

The location was perfect, and the kitchen was well equipped. Apartment #3 had two bathrooms, and the cleaning was okay, though there were a few spiderwebs. The AC worked fine in the kitchen, but the loft stayed very hot and the AC didn’t help there.

The location was perfect, but the apartment itself was in really poor shape. The air conditioning was noisy, the windows let in a lot of street sound, and the shower stand was broken. It badly needs renovation. One of our worst bookings in a long time.

Really amazing!

The apartment was dusty and run-down, with a TV balanced on four books and a kitchen in bad shape. The bedroom and bathroom were freezing, and there was only one air conditioning unit for the whole place. Reception said to turn it up when I reported that the boiler was off. At night my partner found an extra blanket, but it was dirty. Getting in was difficult too: the lockbox code worked, but I couldn't remove the key. Reception only answered after several calls, then came over with a replacement. The next morning there was no hot water. Reception said the cleaner would come, and he started working on the boiler. We went for a walk so he could work, expecting an update, but heard nothing. When we came back more than an hour later, the problem still hadn't been fixed. I angrily told the front desk we were leaving and would put the keys in the box they'd specified. They offered another apartment upstairs, on the third floor with no elevator, but we'd already left. I later asked for a partial refund for the unused day and they refused, saying I wasn't entitled to it because I hadn't answered their message. My brother runs a hotel and my aunt is a lawyer, so I'm now taking legal action.
