The villa is 2,5 km from Treviso center, and you can park inside the main yard. It's a 16th-century house turned into a mini hotel. The rooms have been modernised and are comfortable while retaining the villa's original look. The entrance area, with a shared living room and kitchen for guests, keeps the feel of the old house. Nothing wrong with that, though it may appeal to some people more than others.

My husband is allergic to mites from old furniture, which was the one issue for us. Otherwise, everything was really nice: the staff treated us very well, the cleaning was great, and the location was good. They even lent us bikes for free. We'd recommend the place in Treviso, and Treviso itself for a few days away. We liked it more than Venice 😊.

The historic centre of Treviso is a pleasant 15 minute bike ride away along the river Sile, and bikes are available to use. We've stayed at La Fenice on and off for the last 3 months, and the team has always been friendly and accommodating. Our kids love running and playing around the grounds. Treviso has lots of shops, restaurants, and bars to explore, and the train gets you to Venice in 20 minutes, where you can battle the crowds.
