Tenuta Il Grifo

A beautiful place, with a warm welcome. It felt fresh and comfortable.

We were six friends spending a wonderful holiday in Puglia, and this quiet, welcoming property in the Salento countryside suited us well. Giampiero greeted us warmly and was very helpful. The rooms were well cared for, and breakfast was plentiful, with homemade jams and delicious pasticciotti. It’s conveniently placed for reaching both the Adriatic and Ionian coasts. We’d definitely recommend it for a great stay in Salento.

Giampiero and Angela made us feel at home right away, they were so friendly and helpful. My partner, our dog, and I spent about a week at this lovely property, surrounded by real peace and quiet. The rooms were spotless, with mini-fridges, air conditioning, and bathrooms with hairdryers. It’s also a handy base, just minutes from many beautiful places to visit. We found it hard to leave and would happily stay here again in Puglia.

We felt like friends rather than customers, thanks to Gianpiero and Mariarosaria and their warm welcome. They helped us plan our outings and spoiled us with a wonderful breakfast. The estate is lovely and well cared for, with everything from the bathroom to the garden swings, a patio with board games, relaxing music, and a refreshing breeze. It’s also close to some of Salento’s best-loved seaside areas. A really lovely holiday, and we hope to come back!
