Villa La Tricasina by HDSalento

Top!

We spent three breathtaking weeks in this beautiful villa and lacked nothing. The rooms were lovingly furnished, and every bedroom had its own climate control, which was fantastic. The jacuzzi was a real treat, and the holiday felt completely undisturbed. The hosts were friendly and helpful, always available without getting in the way. They welcomed us with homemade cake and freshly picked tomatoes, both delicious. Thanks for everything, dear Isabella and Biaggio. We'll definitely come back.

We arrived to a spotless, spacious home, carefully furnished and equipped with every comfort. Isabella and Biagio were lovely, very kind, and always available, while still giving us plenty of space despite living right above the apartment. The patio has a hot tub that's bigger than it looks in the photos, a large outdoor dining table, a barbecue, a handy outdoor shower, and a parking spot. They'd also left us homemade cake and cold drinks in the fridge. We had no complaints and would highly recommend staying here. Thanks, Isabella and Biagio!

The worst stay of our lives, and we lost an innocent soul. Our dog died after being hit by a car and needing an operation. We were left with over €2,000.00 in losses and a heavy heart. Be very careful if you bring pets. We were told it was fine to leave our medium-sized dog outside, and everything was okay for four days. Then the owner called to say our 10 kg, overweight dog had bitten through the ties holding fake ivy on the automatic gate and escaped through the bars. I don't believe that. My dog could never have fitted through those bars, much less chewed through the ties, which were clearly cut with scissors. I think they made up the story to avoid admitting they let her out or hit her while coming onto the property without permission. The contract clearly says they must ask the guests staying there before entering. But the owners live upstairs, connected to the guest villa by a door opening onto the hallway, and they have free, constant access because their garage is inside the property. This wasn't disclosed. The pergola over the outdoor area with the hot tub is useless in the rain, since everything gets wet and you can't sit outside. When it's dry, there's always dust, plus lots of snails and large ants.
