We always stay here when we come to Trieste to see friends. It’s a practical hotel, simply furnished and clean, with free internet and a pizzeria downstairs. A room costs €70, and it makes a great base for visiting the city.

The room was dated, with 1960s-style bedspreads, and the air conditioning was hard to control because it used a heating thermostat. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all. There was no password and no way to connect. I’m giving two stars only for the fairly clean room and the tight parking spot by the pizzeria downstairs and their scooters, behind a locked gate.

The rooms are clean and spacious. It’s a little out of the way if you arrive by train, but buses make getting around easier.

I don’t go to this place, I just live nearby. Please don’t send me this message again. Thank you.
