Daniela was kind and ready to help with anything we needed. The rooms were very clean and tidy, and breakfast was simple but had what we needed for a satisfying meal. The B&B is about 20 minutes from the city centre and Trieste's main attractions. The building and rooms are a bit dated, with no TV or air conditioning. It’s set up like a house with two bedrooms and two adjoining bathrooms, separated only by a curtain, plus a small kitchenette in the middle where breakfast is served. The price may be a little high, but it’s reasonable for Trieste’s usual rates. I’d recommend it for a short stay. Thank you.

The hostess greeted us kindly, but the building badly needs modernizing. The rooms are on the third floor of a historic building that’s extremely poorly maintained and dirty. They were all stiflingly hot and smelled strongly of must, so we had to sleep with the air conditioning running, which was extremely noisy and annoying. The rooms were shabby, with below-standard furnishings, and the shared bathroom for two rooms was small and outdated. The value for money was truly poor.

I’ll keep it brief. I needed somewhere to sleep, and even though I was more than 1,100 km away, I was welcomed kindly right away. We had a great time. A negative review from another user had made me hesitate about contacting the owner, but I’m glad I did. If I come back, I’d pick this property again.

Daniela is an impeccable host at this welcoming B&B. It’s in a lovely, quiet neighborhood of Trieste, just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre.

After I asked by phone and WhatsApp and was told a room was available, I called again the next day to get the arrangements confirmed in writing. That was when I was told by message that the room had been booked. If I hadn’t called back, my family and I would have been left stranded. The lady didn’t answer when I called several times to check whether there had been a misunderstanding. This was a disappointing experience before it even began, and her behavior says a lot about her professionalism. Those are the facts, and readers can judge for themselves.
