Hotel Riccio

The only real downside was some evening noise, since the hotel is on the pedestrian promenade. Otherwise, the location was excellent, the food was excellent in both quality and quantity, and everything was impeccably clean. The cleaning ladies were always smiling and helpful. I stayed with a friend at Hotel Riccio during the last week of August, and I’d go back right away if I could. The atmosphere felt very friendly, and the staff were attentive and kind. I remember dear Veronica and Michele fondly, as well as the owner’s helpfulness.

This was my second visit, this time with my husband, and we had a great stay. The owner is consistently kind and helpful, and went beyond what we expected, which is rare these days. We’ll come back. I’d recommend it to singles, couples, and families. The location is excellent.

We were looking for a calm, relaxing holiday, and that’s what we got. It’s a family atmosphere, with good traditional cooking and everything kept clean and tidy. The hotel is also in a very handy spot, just steps from the sea, the center, and the port. We could leave the car parked from arrival until the end of the holiday. I highly recommend it.

The hotel’s location is excellent, and the owner and staff were very kind. Still, for €300 a night we expected better. We were three people staying one night in July, with a room, breakfast, parking, and beach included. We only used the room, breakfast, and parking overnight, since we were away and didn’t use the beach. Breakfast was sparse, just the bare minimum. The room was clean enough, but the air conditioning was broken. With 45 degrees Celsius outside, I can only imagine how bad that could have been. We paid just before leaving and expected at least a small discount. The rooms could be better maintained. I’m not sure we’ll return.
