The garden was a lovely place to unwind, with plenty of plants and spots in the sun or shade, and there’s private parking too. Garni Pension Villa Maria sits on the main street in Vipiteno’s historic center, right by the pedestrian area, in a quiet, sunny spot. The bus station and the cable car to Monte Cavallo are close by. Our room was bright and roomy, with a great bed, and pink geraniums spilling from the windows and balconies. Breakfast had lots of sweet and savory choices. The staff kept everything clean, and the owner was kind, attentive, and always ready to help with reasonable requests.

We had a fantastic holiday in the first week of July 2015, with plenty of fun and time to relax. Villa Maria’s owner was so kind, and our spacious room was spotless. We’ve been spending our holidays with Alma for many years and are always happy to return. Alma Oberhauser makes the place feel so welcoming, and the rooms are quiet and clean. The breakfast is superb. For us, it’s the best guesthouse in South Tyrol.

We come several times a year and always think it’s great. The rooms are clean and lovely, breakfast is good, and the place has a nice family-run feel. It’s also in a superb spot, close to the mountain station for skiing and the pedestrian zone.
