Grab a Flat

It's a very large, clean apartment, equipped with everything, even a washing machine. The furnishings are simple, but neat and fairly new. You can walk to Trieste's city center easily from this central spot. There's free street parking, or a paid multi-storey garage 500 meters away. The owner is helpful and always ready with good advice.

I've stayed in this apartment before and expect I'll book one of their places again whenever I'm in Trieste, for work or a holiday. It's right by the city center, very clean, well maintained, and has all the comforts you need for a weekend or a longer stay. You can park on the street or in the garage next door. The manager is friendly, helpful, and impeccable. I'd recommend it without hesitation.

The apartment was okay, but in my experience it's suitable for just one night. Mine had four bedrooms, including one regular bedroom and two separate sofa beds in the kitchen, and the stay was average. I found dirt on the floor, and there was a fried-food smell, as if we'd just moved into somebody's home. Nothing felt particularly clean or well maintained, and the place came across as a poorly functioning home. I'm glad to see so many positive reviews, but I can give it no more than three stars.

There are six apartments on one floor, and we stayed in three different ones. They're modern, very spacious and clean, with the comforts needed for short or longer stays. The kitchens are fully equipped, and some apartments sleep up to five people. A cot can be requested too, so it works well for families and groups. Staff are friendly and always available. There are several bars, a supermarket and a fishmonger downstairs. Free parking is available below the property and in the surrounding streets, with a paid lot nearby as well. Highly recommended.
