Hotel Capitelli

The location is easily the best part, right in the middle of the action and close to the main sights and shops. Even so, it was peaceful at night. The manager was very nice and helpful, and booked us a table at a nearby restaurant. We had the top-floor room, with an elevator that went straight to it, which was a nice touch. There were two double beds and a single bed across two levels. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable, but there was no view at all. Sun came straight through the upper-level window onto our son's bed, so he couldn't really sleep properly. It's a very quaint hotel.

Whenever I visit Trieste, several times a year, I stay at this charming, quaint hotel. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with everything I need. The manager is so helpful. Thank you, Paolo!

My Single Room was small, but nice and clean, and the bathroom was relatively spacious and clean too. The air conditioning worked well. It's right in the middle of the city, a superb base for sightseeing. The friendly owner found a secure spot in the hotel for my bicycle. Everything was VERY good.

We arrived in Trieste without anywhere to stay, so we asked a local for a hotel suggestion. Capitelli was the first place they mentioned, and the welcoming host made it easy to book a night right away. The lobby had already won us over, then the room was even cozier. It was clean, well equipped, and the bed gave us the best sleep we'd had in ages. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the hosts spoke perfect English. Don't let the one-star rating put you off, this place deserves more.
