Serena was so kind and helpful, and gave us lots of useful tips for our stay. The apartment was spotless, with a very comfortable bed and pillows and a well-equipped kitchen. It's close to the historic center and to bus stops for the main places of interest.

Our reservation was confirmed by bank transfer two weeks ahead, but the host had completely forgotten about it. She acted as though everything was fine, then told us when we arrived that both the apartment and the parking we'd booked had been rented to someone else. We ended up in another of their apartments, smaller and cheaper, with one fewer bedroom. For four people, that caused a lot of problems. The host didn't seem sorry about the mistake and actually seemed annoyed when we complained. Highly discouraged!

I cleaned an apartment in Via Mazzini and never got paid. They said we'd sort it out later, but nothing happened. It's been 4-5 years, and I'm still chasing payment for three hours of work. This isn't about €5, €10, or €20. I showed up on time and did the job, so I expected them to take paying me seriously. They ask for seriousness and proof, then don't pay. Am I supposed to keep chasing them? No. It's about basic fairness and responsibility. They wonder why they can't find workers. Congratulations to Bicocche Maison!

Serena was a lovely, helpful host and made us feel genuinely welcome. Her apartment is in a historic building right in central Trieste, recently renovated and tastefully furnished with every comfort. It deserves its five-star rating.
