The view over the city center and the sea is beautiful, and the location is fantastic. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, as shown in the photos, and the property manager was friendly and accommodating. Parking can be arranged right in front of the property if requested. I’ve taken off a star because it calls itself a "Bed & Breakfast" but doesn’t actually serve breakfast.

My partner and I were meant to stay in a triple room from July 2nd to 6th. On the first night, we found bedbugs in the bed. We quickly told the man who had left us the keys, since he was our only contact with the owners. We learned that the owners already knew about the issue, but it seemed the required precautions hadn’t been taken, even though local health authorities have protocols for this kind of accommodation problem. The way we were treated made things worse: they didn’t help us find somewhere else to stay and wouldn’t give us the refund we immediately felt we were owed. A terrible experience. I don’t recommend it.

I didn’t expect the stay to feel so much like a real B&B. The owners were warm and welcoming, and the room was spacious, with a lovely balcony view. There was an en-suite bathroom and parking where we didn’t have to worry about getting a ticket. Highly recommend.

Such a clean, pretty place, with a lovely panoramic setting. It’s 1.7 km from the center and uphill, but in Trieste you eat so well that a little walk is nice 😘
