Once you're inside, the apartments are spacious, clean, and tidy. I especially liked the warm radiator in the bathroom. The building doesn't make the best first impression, and parking takes a bit more effort, but once you've found a spot you hardly need the car. It's very central for visiting Trieste or shopping, and works for families or people with modest expectations.

The location is excellent, close to Trieste's city center, and the residence is very nice. We arrived at midnight on August 19th after our car broke down in Croatia, traveling with my husband, our 16-year-old son, our dog, and me. We'd called Ms. Sonia after booking to let her know we'd be delayed. She gave us the entry code, left the electronic key at reception, and said we could call again if we ran into any other problems. The location is great for visiting central Trieste, but the room's cleanliness was disappointing. The shower felt precarious, and you have to hold the shower head in your hand to use the water. There was no one at reception, so problems had to be sorted out over the phone. The stay fell short of what I expected.

It's right in the center of Trieste and the price is good. Wind and 3 had no mobile signal there, though. In colder weather, keep in mind the heating comes from the air conditioning. It doesn't warm the room much and it's noisy.

We found the apartments clean, fresh, and nicely furnished, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke several languages. The location is excellent, right on Trieste's tree-lined pedestrian avenue, Viale XX Settembre. I'd highly recommend it.
