I booked online while on the road, and the check-in time wasn’t shown before I made the reservation. I contacted them to ask for a free cancellation, since Booking said the property could approve one, but they chose to keep 40 € instead. I called several times and they still wouldn’t agree to return my money, even though they hadn’t provided any service. We’re all human, and I think people should be more understanding. I even told them I didn’t want to leave a bad review, but they didn’t seem to care. A horrible experience with the owner. Poor mentality. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Be careful if you book with this boss, because you may not get your money back even if you receive no service.

Getting in was easy: the self check-in directions were clear, and the place stayed calm even though it’s centrally located. It’s between the main piazza and the central train station, handy for exploring on foot. The rooms are spacious, tidy, and quiet, with comfortable beds and the basics like towels, sheets, a wardrobe, and a large TV with casting. WiFi worked quickly and reliably. Shared bathrooms were spotless and convenient, so waiting usually wasn’t a problem. There’s a small coffee and dining area with basic amenities, plus secure bike storage by reception. A clean, practical choice for a short city stay.

The room and shared bathrooms were very clean, and the location made it easy to get around. The train and bus stations, cafés, bars, and supermarkets are all nearby. There’s also a kettle, coffee, tea, cutlery, and a microwave at reception. The heater was the real problem. On my first day, the receptionist said it only gets switched on at night because of “Italian law,” which didn’t make sense to me. It ran for less than an hour when I arrived at night, and I was freezing all night. I actually got sick the next morning from the cold. There weren’t any staff around after noon if you needed help.

Check-in details came over WhatsApp and were easy to follow. We never saw anyone at the lobby, but everything we needed was taken care of. The rooms were nice, the location was ideal, and it was good value. Bathrooms were clean-ish. The outdoor hangout area was a nice extra. I’d absolutely stay again.
